Claude 5.5 family arrives, and Claude can now do the whole job

Anthropic released Opus 5.5, Sonnet 5.5 and Haiku 5.5 in three weeks, and merged its Cowork agent into the main Claude app with new Docs and Slides.
Anthropic says Opus 5.5 costs about 40% less to run than Opus 5 on typical work, and Haiku 5.5 about 75% less than Haiku 4.5. In the Claude app you can now ask a quick question or hand over a report due at noon, and Claude keeps working after you close your laptop. Claude Docs and Claude Slides are in beta on paid plans, and slides download as PowerPoint or PDF. By default Claude asks before taking an action. The unified app became generally available for Claude Enterprise on 23 Oct.
