NotebookLM is now Gemini Notebook, and it makes slides

19 Oct 2026

Google's research notebook (renamed in July) now walks you through turning your own documents into a slide deck or video overview, with a review step first.

Upload board papers, reports or transcripts, then ask for slides. Gemini Notebook suggests topics from your sources, lets you steer style and format, and with the Review toggle on you can edit the outline before anything renders. Answers stay grounded in the files you gave it.
