Microsoft Copilot gets 25+ finance skills

Copilot can now reconcile accounts, draft journal entries and prepare close packages and forecast reviews, inside Excel and its Cowork agent.

Microsoft added more than 25 finance skills and partner plugins, including Xero, QuickBooks, Zoho Books, S&P Global and Moody's. In Excel you can switch on an audit trail that records what Copilot changed and why. Microsoft says Copilot does not use your prompts, responses or documents to train its foundation models.
