Recipe 1: A Monday brief that writes itself
A scheduled AI task that reads the week's key emails or files and sends you a one-page brief every Monday at 8am.
You need: a paid ChatGPT plan with Work, or a paid Claude plan. About 20 minutes.
- Open ChatGPT and switch to Work (or open Claude).
- Connect the app that holds the information, such as Gmail or Google Drive, when it asks. Give access only to what the task needs.
- Paste this prompt:
Every Monday at 8am Kuala Lumpur time, review last week's emails
labelled [Label] and the files in [Folder]. Write a one-page brief:
1) what moved, 2) what slipped, 3) decisions I owe, 4) who is waiting
on me. Bullet points, most important first. Ask before sending
anything to anyone else.- Ask it to run once now so you can check the result.
- Fix what is off ("Shorter." "Skip newsletters.") and confirm the schedule.
Level up: add a trigger so it also alerts you when a named client emails.
